How to make a QR code for your clinic or shop counter
Walk-in clients at a clinic, salon or stall often leave without your number, and you lose the chance to see them again. A QR code on your counter fixes that: one scan opens your page, where they can save your contact, see your prices and book their next visit.
Why put a QR code on your counter
Clients keep your number
One scan, one tap on “Save contact”, and you’re in their phone with your name and details.
Repeat bookings
Next time, they book from your page instead of calling during your busiest hour.
Prices without asking
People can see your services and prices while they wait.
More followers
Your Instagram and YouTube are one tap away from the page.
What the QR code should open
Don’t point the code at a single app. Point it at your link in bio page, so one code covers WhatsApp, booking, payment, your socials and a way to save your contact. If you change a price or add a service later, the same printed code still works, because it opens your page and the page is always up to date.
Make and print your QR card
- 1Open your page in the Card About Me dashboard.
- 2Go to Settings and, under Your link, tap Print a QR code for this page. A card opens with your name, tagline and QR code.
- 3Tap Print. It fits A4 and Letter paper, or save it as a PDF to send to a print shop.
- 4Scan the printout with your own phone to check it opens your page.
The printable QR card is included on every plan, including Free.
Where to place it
- At eye level, near where people wait. Reception desks, billing counters and waiting-room walls work best.
- Big enough to scan. Print the code at least 3 cm wide, and bigger if people scan from a distance.
- With a reason to scan. A line like “Scan to book your next visit” works better than a bare code.
- Protected. Laminate it or put it in a stand, so it doesn’t fade or tear.
More places to use the same code
Print it on your visiting card, prescription pad, bill, product labels and event banners. Add it to the last slide of your talks and the end of your videos. It’s the same code everywhere, so every scan lands on your up-to-date page.
